Nathalia E. Jaramillo is Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Kennesaw State University. She is the author of Immigration and the Challenge of Education (Palgrave-MacMillan, 2012) and co-editor of Epistemologies of Ignorance in Education (Information Age Publishing, 2011). She is also co-editor of a forthcoming collection, Disrupting Colonial Pedagogies: Theories and Transgressions (University of Illinois Press). Nathalia has written extensively in the fields of critical educational thought and politics of education. Her work is interdisciplinary and examines questions around culture, politics, gender and epistemology utilizing the frameworks of decolonial and feminist thought.
